Declining and opting out
No is a complete answer. Here is how to give it, at any strength.
How it works
An invite asks; it never obliges. There are three strengths of no, and all of them work:
- Ignore it. Your private link stops accepting answers 14 days after the invite. Nothing happens, nothing is recorded against you, and silence triggers no follow-up cadence.
- Decline this invite. If your invite came by email, reply and say so — the request is closed.
- Ask for no further contact. Say exactly that in your email reply, or use the contact route in the Privacy Policy (which also covers invites that arrived by letter). The Sondara team acts on it and stops reaching out.
What you do
- Decide which no you mean.
- Reply to the email that carried your invite, or follow the Privacy Policy's contact route — either reaches Sondara.
- For your broader data rights (including deletion), the Privacy Policy states the process.
Good to know
- Declining one invite does not remove you from consideration for a different topic later; a no-further-contact request tells the team to stop outreach to you altogether.
- An invite that has already been answered shows a closed notice if the link is opened again; an expired link no longer accepts answers. Your answers are never collected without an active submission from you.
